Become a Greenpeace Climate Volunteer

If you want to get involved and really help Greenpeace put pressure on the Government to take climate change seriously at Copenhagen then please give us your contact details, and we will get in touch to let you know how you can help.

We have regular opportunities for volunteers in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. We are also building volunteer bases in Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad next year (2010).

If you don’t live in one of these cities, you can still sign up for action alerts and updates – we often take action in different parts of the country and will definitely need your help. We suggest visiting this website regularly and signing up as a volunteer.

We thank you for your support and hope to see you soon!

  1. Harish Shukul Says:

There is only one way to get positive results for our collective efforts-peaceful march to parliament with signed resolution by maximum number of people. It should be submitted to the Prime-minister only and in return a promise to expedite the requested demands at an early date.

  2. bheema Says:

Why not link greenpeace with religion? Linking like this will really spread its impact fast. In this world large gatherings can be organized on the grounds of religion only.

  3. Kiranmayee Says:

    Hi,
I would like to become a Greenpeace climate volunteer.I agree with Harish Shukul response. It would be really effective if we make up a march to Parliament peacefully (showing the non violent means of expressing concern) and let the Primeminister know the importance behind raising our voice at Copenhagen.

    Regards,
    Kiranmayee.

We should and must save our planet…we say that we love our family but went we do nothing to save the earth..its the diggest disgrace ever..cause not only do we not take care of the place we live in..but by polluting the climate we are also making sure that we destroy our own future

  6. Oishimaya Says:

Only an united effort by members of all countries of the world can save our world from climate change. We have to forget all differences and stop blaming others .We have to think and act like members of the world not just of our own countries bcoz climate change will not spare anyone rich or poor ,sooner or later it will affect everybody!

  7. Hardika Narula Says:

Yeah that’s a good idea by Mr.Shukla. However, I wonder how effective it’s gonna be. No matter how much effort we citizens put in, nothing matters to our ministers as much as money and luxury. I don’t believe in their promises and their proposals which are always only on paper. I just hope the Greenpeace movt.’s efforts do not go futile and smthng productive does emerge out of it.

  8. asha kachru Says:

it is important to press upon the negative impact of conventional agriculture in climate changes. we must push through the role of organic agriculture and gender equality in this context more so, to “feed and cool the plannet”, as the civil society 2009, the group of 500 civil society organisations of small scale farmers around the world, emphasized at the last world food summit in rome.

    Guys!,

Really good to see large number of people gathering here. Agree with your sayings.

There are are lot of activities need to be done to stop the change in the climate .

Atleast If 90% People in india should understand & practice what causes the climate change & evil effects of it.

Ofcourse Government should come heavily in implementing certain rules & regulations to save the environment.
